This site is in memory of John Macnamara, (1935-2019). John was eventually diagnosed with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) in 2018, having suffered increasingly with its symptoms. It is a rare condition which is not fully understood and there is no cure. John’s death spared him from the final, devastating stages of this cruel illness. He was very keen to donate his brain for research purposes but sadly this was not possible. We would appreciate donations to help support the PSP Association into their work, and know that John would support this.
